So I guess Asher has spoiled me more than I realized with sleeping through the night. The past couple of nights he has had an upset stomach or something and has been waking up constantly which makes for a very tired mommy. That being said, I HAD to get out of the house today just to get a break.
That's where my boo came in. When I say my "boo" you would assume I would be talking about my husband, but my boo is someone that no man can compete with. She is my sanity and one of my absolute best friends. Our friendship has been, in my opinion, one of those crazy things that we've known each other for a little over a year, but I can't remember my life without her. In the past few months we've become even closer and I have no idea how I'll ever be able to live in Spokane again without her. The Air Force has decided that she and her husband need to go live in Las Vegas. I knew the day would come since her husband is a pilot, but I'm just not ready for her to leave in a month. Yes, she is an officer's wife, but not your stereotypical uppity above these enlisted girls kind of wife. (If you are an officer's wife and you're reading this, I'm not trying to offend you, but I'm sure without hesitation that you can think of someone that exudes exactly what I'm talking about.) Anyway, back to my boo... Plain and simple, she is awesome. So when I was having a crappy day, I was welcomed into her home with open arms and without hesitation. She is someone who won't judge me when I look like absolute dookie and have the sleep deprived circles under my eyes. She completes me :)
So now we're just chilling at her house. It's one of those days where we don't even have to entertain each other. Just sitting in each other's company with our Mac's on our laps while we blog about our lives is all that we need to be content. Although, I'm not going to lie... the fact that they're having from-scratch buffalo chicken pizza tonight was another enticing reason to come over. Can't wait for our hubbies to get here so that we can enjoy the awesomeness known as dinner.
Oh, by the way, for some reason it was 60 degrees in our house this morning so here was Asher in the kitchen while Daddy was making lunch.
1. You could never look like Dookie.
ReplyDelete2. You're the prettiest Dookie I've ever known.
3. This is the only blog I've ever read with the name Dookie.
4. We're considering Dookie as a baby name, what do you think?
