So after much debate, I have given in to start this blog. It will most likely be a mix of random thoughts, events going on in my life, future venting, and a way of keeping up with milestones with my wonderful 3 month old. I don't know if it'll be worth reading, but you might as well try it out with me, and we'll see how it goes.
As I said in my "About Me" section, I am an Air Force wife. My husband, Andrew, is a Staff Sergeant and is a Boom Operator on the KC-135. We are stationed at Fairchild AFB, Washington which is pretty far from home for both of us. We're both from the South. I'm from Kentucky and he is from South Carolina, but home is where the Air Force sends us which happens to be Spokane for now. We got married in December 2008 and adopted our dog on that Christmas Eve. He was my first puppy and better than I could've ever expected. His name is Socks and he's absolutely crazy. He's as lazy as his mom which works out amazingly. We decided to start trying for a human version in October of 2009. In March, I took a test that turned out positive. In November of 2010, I got the best birthday present ever and our son Asher was born. We're all still adjusting to life with a baby although Asher makes it pretty easy most of the time.
I am loving life as a mommy and wife and would not change a thing (except for maybe being a little closer to family and friends). We have met some wonderful people here and could not ask for better friends to share our lives with. I'm going to try to post on here often so I hope to see people reading it. I'm going to get off for now and change a lovely smelling diaper. Welcome to my life! Hope everyone has a wonderful day. I'll leave you with our most recent full family picture that was taken on Super Bowl Sunday. GO PACK GO!
Aw yay I am glad you made a blog.. such a cute layout too.
